Show casing the 2 most expensive meals during my stay in HK.
Maxim's Palace at City Hall where Queen Eliz patronises. HKD388 for 2 pax for the 10 dim sum we tasted.

The skin of the Xiao Long Bao was too thick, prefer the standards of Din Tai Fung or Crystal Jade.

The filling of custard bun was smooth. Didnt like the char siew bun as the meat filling was bland.

Hot pick - ma lai gao - soft & springy texture, not too sweet.

Pastry of the egg tart was just right, with a good egg aroma. The paste of the yam puff was smooth too.

Plain chee cheong fun - thin and smooth

Prawn with corn roll - new taste. But Prawn with mango would taste better.
Steam carrot cake was soft and smooth though saltish (due to the sauce).

Another hot pick - siew mai. Not a fan of siew mai though.

Dinner @ Underbridge Spicy Crab @ Admiralty

There are at least 4 outlets along the road under the bridge, owned by the same owner! The dinner for 2 costs about S$140, excluding the dessert that we ate at a dessert cafe.
The double boiled shark fins had better quality fins than the shark fins with crab meat.

Signature spicy typhoon crab that costs abt S$75 per kg. The fresh crab was fried before serving with the typhoon shelter sauce that was garlic-based. The frying caused the fresh crab meat to be dry and lost its sweetness.

The Mantis prawn costs abt S$16 per piece. Not much meat though.

Fresh and juicy scallops
Durian roll, mango pomelo and durian pomelo from Lucky Dessert House. Very appetising and refreshing mango pomelo!
