Seafood Paradise @ Defu (12 Apr 08)

We started our 5-course dinner with the refreshing and appetitising Wasabi & Mayo Prawns
Seafood broth was served in the tradional bowl instead of in a young coconut. The texture of the soup here is lighter than the one served at the Flyer. The Baked Lobster with Salted Egg Yolk is bigger than those served at the Flyer. My personal taste preference is it was more tasty here than the Flyer.
We added their specialty - Broccoli with scallops & egg white - like the egg white which was smooth Ee Fu with Crab Meat was also from the ala carte menu. As we over-ordered, the noodle was 'da-bao' instead, which I didnt get to taste.
Seafood Supreme fried rice was included in the set - like the fragrance of the rice as well as the color which made it so appetising! Rice grain was firm and tasty too.
Crab with glass noodle was from the ala carte menu too. The stock was rich and the glass noodle was smooth and tasty from the rich stock. Crab was fresh and succulent. We tried very hard to finish the glass noodle as we were filled almost to the brim. Too greedy of us to have ordered so much food for 3.

We finished the heavy meal with Mango Pomelo - which is one of my favourite desserts. However, I was not impressed with the Mango Pomelo.
